Why you should train with us

“Hello, I email regarding joining your franchise. I joined **** ***** in July as a PDI but had numerous problems, mainly a lack of pupils, and opted out before the contract came in to force. Since then, I haven’t had the chance to restart with anyone. I would like to start up again and get through to becoming an ADI. I’m very impressed with your website and would like to find out further information if possible. If you could provide any details I would be very eager to hear from you.”

This is an email we received from a Potential Driving Instructor called JM, currently with a well know national driver training school.

We’ve disguised the name of the training company he joined and his name too of course, you’ll understand why.

The point is that without pupils the new instructor has no chance of being able to practice their skills plus they’ll probably still have to pay the franchise costs despite the lack of work. Hardly seems fair.

We’re different.

We provide a written guarantee of pupil numbers and the new instructor gets to choose which level of franchise best suits their needs. Afterall, if the instructor feels confident in sourcing their own pupils too then why punish them for this by expecting them to pay the same franchise costs. And if for any reason the instructor doesn’t receive the work we’ve promised then we simply refund them. It’s worth pointing out here that we rarely have to refund, our pupil numbers are so high.

Driving Test changes: new ‘show me, tell me’ videos

With less than 3 months to go to until the driving test changes, the DVSA have published new videos about the updated ‘show me, tell me’ driving test questions.

During the test, examiners ask your pupils 2 vehicle safety questions – known as the ‘show me, tell me’ questions.

Currently, both questions are asked at the start of the test, but from 4 December 2017, your pupils will have to carry out the ‘show me’ question while they’re driving.
